paul mcardle awarded
Our 'health hero' Paul McArdle has been recognised by Hastings District Council for his work as founder of Bike On and instigator of bikes in schools and the Hastings i-way initiative. Paul wrote to us:
Last week I received a Hastings District Council Civic Award for my work with biking and kids etc. This was a real honour. I would never have got this award without the generous financial support and help that Radius Medical provided us right from the very start.
Your help ensured that through our "Bikes in Schools" project many more children are now riding a bike on a regular basis. So on behalf of Meg and I, thank you very much.
All credit goes to Paul and Meg, and we are honoured to have been their first sponsor. Bike riding has been shown to help with many aspects of child development, including reducing childhood obesity.
