Davies Corner Accident and Medical offers accident and medical services all year round between 8 am and 8 pm every day. We cater to casual drop-in patients, or you can call us to make an appointment. X-ray, pharmacy and laboratory are all available on-site for one-stop healthcare.

We are a Level 2 Accident and Medical clinic endorsed against ACC standards, and have achieved Royal NZ College of GPs 'Cornerstone' quality practice accreditation.

Manage My Health

Manage My Health is a new self-service portal available to enrolled patients. This convenient new service allows you to manage many aspects of your health and wellbeing online, no matter where you are. You can:

  • book appointments
  • request repeat scripts
  • update your information
  • check recent prescriptions
  • track health data such as your blood pressure
To register, please ask our receptionist for a log in. For a limited time, there will be no practice charge for repeat prescriptions ordered through Manage My Health.

weekend service

Our centre is endorsed by ACC auditors as an accident and medical centre. This means that on weekends and public holidays, emergency and urgent walk-in patients take priority.

If you would like to see your regular GP for non-urgent or non-acute health concerns, please make an appointment during our normal weekday hours.

emergency priority

Patients in an emergency or with very urgent conditions will be given priority over booked and walk-in patients.

Phoning us

We have heard your complaints about our phone system, and over the past few months have been developing a new, centralised phone system which will make it much easier for you to reach us.

This will get underway in late October, starting with Davies Corner, and as it becomes thoroughly tested, we will roll it out to our other Hamilton centres. We're very excited about this improvement. Please bear with us while we get it up and running.

Did you know that as an enrolled patient, you can visit any of Radius Medical's Hamilton clinics, and the clinical staff can access your patient information? Because all our clinics share one database, you can enjoy the flexibility of visiting any of our practices, if you find yourself in another part of town or can't get an appointment at your usual medical centre  - and you won't be charged casual rates.

Your regular doctor will have access to any notes taken at another of our other practices. Remember though, that it's important to return to your regular doctor whenever you can.
