Team Medical offers accident and medical care, as well as a general practice service which is Cornerstone quality accredited by the Royal New Zealand College of GPs. Our philosophy is to provide high quality primary medical care with a team approach, providing general practice with accident and medical care along with physiotherapy, x-ray and pilates on site. We are accredited as an ACC-endorsed Level 2 Accident & Medical centre, and operate as an integrated family health centre.

Our clinic is purpose-built and sited in a large shopping mall, Coastlands, on State Highway One, Paraparaumu, on the beautiful Kapiti Coast. We are equipped to the highest standards to carry out a wide range of general practice and accident and medical procedures. These include care of acute and chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, heart conditions, minor fractures and trauma, terminal care, and minor surgery. We have a fully equipped resuscitation unit.

weekend service

Our centre is endorsed by ACC auditors as an accident and medical centre. This means that on weekends and public holidays, emergency and urgent walk-in patients take priority.

If you would like to see your regular GP for non-urgent or non-acute health concerns, please make an appointment during our normal weekday hours.

Our philosophy is to provide high quality primary medical care with a team approach. Nurses are a key part of the team, triaging all patients on their arrival at the centre. We encourage patients to register with one of our GPs for continuity of care.
