Diabetes clinic
We offer diabetic education, reviewing of recent blood test results lifestyle review, motivation and goal planning in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Our aim is to ensure optimal diabetic control to help prevent diabetic complications. Clinic available Tuesday and Wednesday mornings.
Women's Health Clinic
The Women's Health clinic is led by qualified smear taker nurses and our aim is to offer cervical smears under the Cervical Screening Programme guidelines. We offer 30 minute appointments in a relaxed, comfortable, private environment where a range of women's health issues can be discussed. Mondays 1pm- 7pm, Thursdays 12 - 4pm.
Smoking Cessation Clinic
The Smoking Cessation (Stop Smoking) clinic is led by a qualified, supportive smoking cessation nurse. We offer advice and support on how to stop smoking, and government subsidised nicotine replacement patches and gum in a friendly, relaxed and supporting environment. Wednesdays 8.30 am - 12.30 pm.
Lifestyle heart health clinic
A clinic for people with heart disease, stroke, high cholesterol (cardiovascular) conditions or those seeking weight management is available at The Doctors Napier. This clinic is led by a specialist nurse whose role is to educate, advise, and support people in making positive lifestyle changes to help reduce cardiovascular disease. Wednesdays 8.30 am - 12.30 pm.
Respiratory clinic
Medication information, asthma plans, spirometry, lifestyle advice - for adults and young people. Wednesdays 1 - 5 pm
Child health clinic
Run by a nurse practitioner, treating all aspects of the health of children and young people
