Mangere Family Doctors is an 11-doctor accident and family medical centre open seven days a week. Our friendly reception staff will soon make you comfortable in our spacious waiting room, and specialised nursing staff work with our doctors to provide a quality service and provide health promotion clinics. We are now endorsed against ACC Standards for Accident & Medical centres, and RNZCGP 'Cornerstone' quality approved as a general practice.

Pharmacy, as well now as X-ray and physio are available onsite at our practice.

We are part of TaPasefika Primary Health Organisation. This allows us to increase the range of services we can offer our enrolled patients, and to reduce our fees for adult patients. Ministry of Health funding for health care in New Zealand comes via Primary Health Organisations (PHOs) to our clinic. Funded health services are available ONLY to enrolled patients. Please check with reception that we have your correct details and you are enrolled with our clinic.

Our practice team of doctors, nurses and reception staff work together to help give you access to the care you need. Meet our team:

Dr Michael Wilson MB ChB FRNZCGP - GP, General Manager
Dr Michael Wilson has recently returned to Mangere Family doctors after three years in Melbourne. He is a past partner, board member, and clinical director of the practice having worked with MFD for about seven years before his move to Australia. He also served as the clinical director of TaPasefika, and had a part time appointment with CMDHB as the head of the Diabetes/CVD CCM programme. He brings huge clinical and organizational experience to the practice.

New child health clinic

We are delighted to introduce Mangere Family Doctors to the families at Living and Learning Family Centre. Two mornings a week (every Tuesday and Thursday) one of our doctors is available for a child health clinic at Living and Learning.

This clinic is FREE for all children under six who are enrolled at our practice — and NO APPOINTMENT is needed. Just drop in!

Doctors Bruce Lee, and Monica Nua are involved in providing this exciting new service at Living and Learning.
