Dr Michael Wilson MB ChB FRNZCGP - GP, General Manager
Dr Michael Wilson has recently returned to Mangere Family doctors after three years in Melbourne. He is a past partner, board member, and clinical director of the practice having worked with MFD for about seven years before his move to Australia. He also served as the clinical director of TaPasefika, and had a part time appointment with CMDHB as the head of the Diabetes/CVD CCM programme. He brings huge clinical and organizational experience to the practice.
Dr Gary Sinclair, BSc (Med) MBBCh MFGP (SA) FRNZCGP: GP, Partner
Dr Gary Sinclair started Mangere Family Doctors as one of the founding partners in April 1995 after two years managing The Doctors Napier. He has over 20 years of general practice experience in both rural and urban communities, and has a special interest in the management of ongoing conditions like diabetes, heart and lung disease. Gary has a passion for patient-centred general practice. Gary is currently based in Australia, and is locumming at Mangere.
Dr Peter Woodward MB ChB FRNZCGP GP, Partner
Dr Peter Woodward was born, raised and schooled in Mangere. He has extensive paediatric (child health) and accident experience and is a Clinical Senior Lecturer at Auckland University. Child health is his special interest, and he is on a committee at the District Health Board influencing child health in South Auckland. He is also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer with the University of Auckland involving the training of medical students.
A partner and director of Mangere Family Doctors, Peter is married with three children. 'I love working in Mangere where I grew up and really enjoy being a South Auckland GP. I believe we have a great team in our practice to build on the good care we provide for our patients and for the health of our community.'
Dr Allan Tee MBChB Dip Paeds Dip Obs & Gynae FRNZCGP - GP Partner
Dr Allan Tee graduated from Otago Medical School in 1997 and spent the first three years working in various hospitals. In year 2001, he gained post-graduate qualification both in Paediatrics and Obstetric & Gynaecology.
Allan joined our Mangere and Ti Rakau clinics in 2001 and is now a partner of Mangere Family Doctors. He brings a wide range of medical and surgical experience and has a special interest in minor surgery. Being a Malaysian-born Chinese and raised in NZ, Allan is multilingual and speaks most Chinese dialects including Mandarin and Cantonese. Outside of work Allan is a busy father with two young sons, and enjoys playing golf.
Dr Richard Busfield MBChB FRNZCGP - GP
Dr Richard Busfield has extensive expertise with menstrual disorders, contraception, sterilisation, and fertility issues. A Clinical Senior Lecturer on General Practice, he has a long association with National Women's Hospital, especially in the assessment and treatment of heavy or irregular period bleeding. Richard also has experience with IUD's and vasectomies, together with skin lesion surgery. Born, raised, and educated here in Auckland, Richard is a proud and active father, and supportive husband.
Dr Huta Tangaroa MB ChB Dip Obs FAMPA - GP
Dr Huta Tangaroa joined the Mangere team in 2006 and has rapidly become an extremely popular and well respected member of the doctor team. Huta is originally from the Cook Islands, but has spent many years in general practice in New Zealand (Bay of Islands, West Auckland and more recently South Auckland).
