What is MoleMate™?
MoleMate™ is a non-invasive, rapid and painless melanoma screening device, effective up to 3mm under the skin. Our MoleMate machine scans moles and looks under the skin at the "legs" of the melanoma to see if the melanin (dark pigment) is growing deep, which indicates it is cancer.
Most dermatologists admit that when looking at the mole from the top view (mole map, episcope etc) the most experienced people can make mistakes. This machine looks at a deeper sub-surface view and hence has vastly better prediction rates.
