Radius Medical provides a full family healthcare service to residents of Silverstream and the wider community in the Hutt Valley and Upper Hutt. Conveniently located in a shopping area near the local commuter rail station, we are open five days a week 9 am to 5 pm. With our team of GPs, practice nurses, and receptionists, and a wide range of additional services are available in the centre or just nearby, we provide complete primary health care under one roof.

These charges are for standard GP consultations up to 15 minutes. For extended consultations, special procedures, nurse consults, medicals, and non-NZ resident charges please enquire at reception. Charges apply for any materials used.

Current vacancy: practice nurse

We have a fixed term position for a practice nurse to cover maternity leave for 6 - 9 months, 32 hours a week. For details and to apply, please go to our jobsite.

After hours service

If you need medical care when our practice is closed, please first call 04 527 7376. Your call will be taken by a New Zealand registered triage nurse, who will assess your needs, offer advice or arrange immediate assistance. This may range from calling an ambulance, to advising a visit to the afterhours, to suggestions for how to care for yourself at home.

This service is available all night, on weekends and public holidays, and any time the practice is closed including Christmas Day.
