If you need medical care when our practice is closed, please first call 04 527 7376. Your call will be taken by a New Zealand registered triage nurse, who will assess your needs, offer advice or arrange immediate assistance. This may range from calling an ambulance, to advising a visit to the afterhours, to suggestions for how to care for yourself at home.

This service is available all night, on weekends and public holidays, and any time the practice is closed including Christmas Day.

The nurses are experienced, specially trained and are in New Zealand. They will assist you and give appropriate help and advice, including referral to your on-call GP (if applicable) clinic, hospital, ambulance or any available after-hours facility in your area.

So if someone is not feeling well in the middle of the night, don't hesitate to call us for free advice. It doesn't matter what time it is, just call our practice number and you will be forwarded directly to a registered nurse.

You won't wake anyone up because the nurses are there, waiting to help anytime.
