Repeat prescriptions
We are normally happy to provide repeat prescriptions to enrolled patients for certain stable conditions. You will have to see your GP for regular reviews and monitoring to review your progress and help you improve your health. Please allow us enough time for repeat prescription requests to be processed - usually up to 2 working days. There is a small charge for this service.
Online repeat prescriptions
Now there's a new way for patients in selected* medical centres in our group to order a repeat prescription - you can log a request online via this website. 
A few things you should know first:
- If you are acutely ill or need to be seen by the doctor urgently please either dial 111 for an ambulance or phone the centre for an appointment to see the doctor.
- The online repeat prescription service is for medications that are routinely prescribed for you by your usual doctor, for certain stable conditions. You will have to see your doctor for regular reviews and monitoring to review your progress and help you improve your health.
- Your repeat script will be ready to collect within 3-4 working days.
- If your medications run out before we can process your request, please phone your medical centre and discuss.
- Please list by name all medications that you require.
- You must be a regular patient at the practice from which you are requesting a script.
- If you are new to the practice and have not yet been reviewed by a doctor, please make an appointment to see the doctor for an initial assessment and prescription.
- For medications that not routinely prescribed please either phone the centre or make an appointment to see your doctor.
- Please record in the space provided on the form any allergies that you may have to medications either prescribed or over-the-counter.
- If you are out of town we can fax the script to a pharmacy you specify - please provide a fax number.
- Your centre will charge you the same fee for online repeat scripts as they do for scripts ordered by phone. Some centres and pharmacies also charge a fax fee.
