Cycle commuter breakfast
The Doctors Hastings recently hosted a breakfast as part of the Hastings Commuter Cycle Challenge. They had a great morning with 75 cyclists turning up for breakfast. The practice team provided home made muffins, apples, drinks, bars, and Dr Hannes Meyer made a very popular fruit smoothie to order.
"The arts centre next door lent us trestle tables and a large fabulous wire construction of a man on a bike which was attached to one of the parking meters and got lots of comments; so with balloons, music, the doctors banner and support from Vicki Butterworth (Bike HB) and Paul McArdle (Bike On, and a group Health Hero) it was a great event. We loved it," reports General Manager Philippa Fox. (See the gallery, below).
