The Doctors, Napier is a quality accredited practice, an ACC-endorsed Level 2 A&M centre. We offer an integrated accident and family health service to our patients, seeing booked, enrolled patients as well as walk in patients.The Doctors was founded in Napier in 1989, and we are open every day of the year, with doctors providing on-call backup outside these hours.

In addition to the full range of primary care, we offer a number of additional services, including nurse-led health clinics and programmes giving patients expert guidance, support, or treatment. For patient convenience, we are also home to a physiotherapist, x-ray, midwives and pharmacy. All our systems are fully computerised, allowing us to access test results directly from the laboratory.

This year at The Doctors we celebrate 21 years of caring for the Napier community. We are very grateful to you, our patients, for your continued support over these years.
As part of our plans to continue providing care for you into the future, we are carrying out a complete refurbishment of our Munroe St and Vautier St clinics. This involves centralising treatment bays and nurse services, adding a minor surgery suite, updating our brand and signage, and of course a complete redecoration,.

We think you will find these changes help make coming to see us at The Doctors a more pleasant and satisfying experience. It will also help us better co-ordinate your care and ensure we have up to date facilities.

Things may be a bit noisy and inconvenient while the refurbishment is going on, and we are grateful for your understanding and patience during this time. We remain open all our usual hours.

You may find your appointment will be in our Greenmeadows or EIT clinic as some doctors and nurses may on occasions work from these clinics over this period. So please make sure you make a note when booking your appointment.  Thank you again for your support and understanding while we carry out our exciting changes.
